Overcoming Trauma: Finding Light After PTSD and C-PTSD
PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and C-PTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) aren't disorders but rather injuries or short-circuits in the brain. Healing from LAS-Legal Abuse Syndrome
Legal Abuse Syndrome (LAS), a term coined by the late Karen Huffer, highlights the profound impact of extreme stress induced by adversarial court proceedings. Over her 30+ years as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Huffer observed how this stress exacerbates health issues and can lead to PTSD and anxiety disorders, hindering individuals from benefiting from therapy.
